Walls Close In: A Home Confinement Story
The boundaries of my home became like a safe space. Now they smother, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days merge into one another, marked only by the chime of the watch and the gnawing emptiness in my chest. Every whisper from outside is a cruel reminder of the world beyond.
I drift through these confined rooms, searching for some spark of hope. The sunlight that once fell across my floor now seem distant, and the stillness is heavy.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically altered. The world outside our doors is a blur of its former glory. We are now confined within the limits of our homes, forced to conform to a new lifestyle. The days melt, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, consuming media, and baking. We crave for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a hike in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a talk without a screen separating us.
This new world has created challenges, but it has also revealed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more understanding, more resourceful, and more thankful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are ahead.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a difficult reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.
Sometimes, the weight of those bars feels suffocating. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a reminder that you're trapped.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure for freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can too lead to imprisonment. This happens when the very notion with freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a weapon for control and domination.
Genuine freedom requires not only the absence of external constraints but also the development of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even within a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves ensnared within the restrictions of their own thoughts.
Consequently, the true measure for freedom lies in our ability to transcend the obstacles that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
